Charles E. Gressle, Chief Executive Officer

Charles Gressle, CEO

Charles E. Gressle joined Medical City Frisco in 2013 with more than 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry.

Gressle has a rich and diverse background in healthcare leadership which includes his prior position as Chief Operating Officer at Medical City & Medical City Children’s Hospital in Dallas. Other previous roles include serving as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for HCA’s Continental Division in Denver, Colorado, and as Chief Operating Officer at The Woman’s Hospital of Texas in Houston, Texas.

Early in his career, Gressle was Associate Vice President in HCA’s Strategic Resource Group where he demonstrated results across various service lines and markets, including the Western Group Cardiac Growth Initiative.

Gressle is proud and fortunate to have started his healthcare career as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Nationally Registered EMT-Paramedic. He received his undergraduate degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his MBA degree with Highest Honors from Wake Forest University. Gressle is married with four children and enjoys family activities, golf, exercising and volunteering in the community.

Patrick Rohan, Chief Operating Officer

Patrick, COO

Patrick Rohan joined the Medical City Frisco senior leadership team as Chief Operating Officer in February 2017.

He came to North Texas from HCA’s Plantation General Hospital in Plantation, Fla., where he had served as COO since 2013. While there, he helped develop plans for a new, $256 million hospital, and oversaw a 12-bed expansion of Plantation’s Emergency Department.

Patrick also made a significant contribution to the growth of Plantation's robotic surgery program, developed Ebola and Zika emergency-response teams and protocols, and established an intensive outpatient program in behavioral health for Broward County.

Earlier in his career, Patrick worked at several other HCA hospitals in South Florida, including Kendall Regional Medical in Miami, JFK Medical Center in Atlantis, and Columbia Hospital in West Palm Beach.

He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Business Management from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Fla. In his leisure time, Patrick enjoys running, fishing, playing golf, and trying new restaurants and cuisines.

Jon Alford, Chief Financial Officer

Jon Alford, CFO

Jon Alford was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Medical City Frisco in March 2018.

He had previously served in that same capacity at Medical City Denton. While there, he was instrumental in acquiring the capital resources needed to expand hospital services, increase the number of employees, and grow the hospital census.

Jon was also a strong advocate for underserved patients. Under his leadership, additional charitable and unreimbursed medical expense options for the community were secured.

During his 15 years in healthcare finance, Jon has worked with Baptist Health in Little Rock, Ark.; Wake Forest Health in Winston-Salem, N.C.; the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Mich.; and OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Okla.

Jon grew up in Jonesboro, Ark., and attended Hendrix College, near Little Rock. He and his wife, Brie, have three young children. The family makes its home in Prosper.

Away from the office, Jon enjoys playing golf and supporting his children in their activities.

Parikshet Babber, MD, Chief Medical Officer

Parikshet Babber, MD

Parikshet Babber, MD, was named chief medical officer for Medical City Frisco in March 2019.

Before coming to North Texas, Dr. Babber served as the executive vice president and chief medical officer at Harris Health System in Houston where he oversaw a $30-million budget and 268 full-time employees. Dr. Babber was also responsible for quality, accreditation, utilization, patient safety, coding, health Information management (HIM) and medical staff services.

Prior to healthcare administration, Dr. Babber was an emergency room physician at the VA Medical Center in Houston and at MD Anderson Cancer Center, where he received the top quality improvement award.

Dr. Babber graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in biology and psychology from Houston Baptist University. He attended medical school at St. George’s University followed by an internal medicine residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. In 2013, he earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston-Victoria.

Sandi Gill, Chief Nursing Officer

Sandi Gill

Sandi Gill joined Medical City Frisco in 2016. Prior to her role at Medical City Frisco, Sandi was the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer/VP of Nursing Operations at Medical City Plano in Plano, Texas for more than three years.

She has worked in multiple clinical settings including Critical Care/Med-Surg/Cardiology, respiratory, dialysis and neurosciences. She is a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives, a member of the North Texas Organization of Nurse Executives, as well as the American Nurses Association.

In 2016 she was awarded with a prestigious DFW Great 100 Nurse award and has also been a recipient of Medical City Healthcare’s Innovator Award for Quality Improvement.

Sandi resides in Plano with her husband and has two children.

James Mendez, Chief Development Officer

James Mendez was named Chief Development Officer for Medical City Frisco in January 2019.

Mendez joined the hospital’s leadership team in 2018 and was responsible for leading physician recruitment efforts, along with planning, organizing, coordinating and directing all hospital functions related to growth and business development initiatives. As Chief Development Officer, Mendez directs strategic development and physician recruitment for both hospitals.

Prior to joining Medical City Plano, Mendez worked his way up from a registered respiratory therapist at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida, to Market Chief Executive Officer for Kindred Hospital in Dallas and Kindred Hospital Dallas Central.

Mendez holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Science with a concentration in Behavioral Health from the University of South Florida and Master of Business Administration from Saint Leo University.
